We have a claim in the process since November 2010 with the great help of the workers but still have not received one cent. The solicitor wrote a letter on our behalf in July and also did not get a response. We are massively out of pocket and have been catching up with OT work etc for most of the year. Do you have any further advice for us strugglers.

Hi Shelley,

Can you give me further details about your claim so I can pursue it.

Hi I also have had a case with the Victims of Crime. The case is going to the County Court in Feb 2012. The issue was raised two and a half years ago and have not received a cent either. The only help has been with a Psychologist. No special assistance or out of pocket expenses. I have been massively out of pocket for that period of time with creating a protection zone around me. Changing all numbers, security etc. Massively in Debt and no way out at the moment because I have raised this case. It just adds to all the pain. The lawyer said once the case has been heard assistance and compensation will go forwards. I would like further advice for us strugglers as well.

Hi, I am a single mother and I have lost everything including my business, my reputation, my career and my personal safety as well as my children's safety just because some crazy racist people, who I do not know, have been sabotaging me professionally by bullying & stalking me initially over the cyberspace with YouTube videos (total of 22 videos) and sending email & mail circulations to my staff, clients & my competitors as well as physically following me without me knowing (they all severely threaten to hit me, kill me, cut me with razors, drop me in a lake, put a bullet in my head and harm me & my children). They continue to taunt me and ring me still today with "Blocked" numbers days & nights. Before I took the matters to the police and court, they had rung my office and my mobile to verbally abuse me and left messages with fake names (some as Federal Police officers) for me to meet them some place and they had continued to defame me by making up stories about me committing fraud overseas & in Australia and ripping people off by selling fake properties on their YouTube videos. It created massive public hysteria. A few of the key people even went on to Today Tonight to make vexatious & false claims against me.
It all started in January 2011 and the police has been investigating since March 2011. The Magistrates Court granted me an intervention order in August 2011 against the key offender who started the hysteria in QLD and the police are putting the criminal evidence together to charge him and his associates. I cannot go out to public places on my own any more because I have terrible panic attacks when people look at me or walk close to me. I am frightened to drive by myself as I am worried that I am being followed. I have moved home and office three times since 2011. I locked my office door when I was in my office and I still check my doors at home at least twice every night and I am having trouble sleeping as I have to check on my children to make sure they are unharmed and I have to take anti-depressants and sleeping tablets from time to time. I often burst into tears for no reason and these have affected me greatly in my personal & working lives. I have been urged to go to the counselling soon. My business was valued at about $195,000 by a bank valuer in January 2011 when I was in the process of applying for a bank loan to expand my business because I was doing really well. Last week I sold it for less than 9% of the value. I have suffered incredible loss emotionally & financially. All the people who owe me money have run away and are spreading the rumours the same way that the stalkers have been doing so they can justify for not paying their bills. I have been in enormous financial struggle and have to keep paying the legal costs to prosecute the offenders who have stalked, bullied & defamed me as well as the legal costs to collect the debts owed from people who have aided the scenario. Please tell me how I may start my claim. Thank you. Regards,
